Hi All..!!
Item #1 -
OK, we should start thinking about Field Day 2006 now and not let it go
until the last minute.
So - everyone start thinking about a really good, easy to access, open
to the public place where we can set up and let people see all the neat
stuff we build and operate. I want to have a public information table
set up with someone soldering something to show how much fun it is.

Plan on a couple of us staying over night.

I figure we can cover at least 80, 40, 20 & 15 for sure. We can have
one station on 6 and use it for extra QSO points. We should be able to
run at least one 80 meter PSK station all night.
I have software for logging on laptops. Paper will also work :)

We need a volunteer for publicity and we will need to figure out eating
and going potty :) We will need an 'official' picture taker so we can
submit an article to both QST and the QQ.

I will take care of all the paperwork and submission to ARRL.

Item #2 -
Moon Light Madness Event.

SEPT. 18 - Oct. 17 - NOV. 16 - DEC. 15

These are the dates left in 2005 for Full moon at night.
We had lots of fun the last outing, I'm willing to try and make a
regular HBQRP event out of this if the rest of you are game.
I think we can get permission to use the Lewis and Clark point sight
again any time we want. (we will let Brian (KM0Y) work that out.)
We only need to operate a couple of hours each time, besides it will
start getting cold soon.. :0
All interested folks, send Brian and I and email (or just reply here to
the group so every one can see who is interested) and we will start
working out the arrangements. We might even work up our own HBQRP
certificate for anyone who sends an SASE.
