Looking for some help.

We'll come up with some people to help you. It may be mid August as several
of the people I am thinking of are going on vacation over the next few
weeks. We can do a survey of your property and see what will be needed. get
the antennas. etc so we're ready to go when the time comes.

Do you have any radio equipment yet?
I'm not familiar with equipment that has audio assistance.
If you don't have a contact for that, _handiham.org_ (http://handiham.org/)
has a lot of info for the blind. I'm sure they would be able to suggest a
radio and equipment that would make it easier for you.

The bands are active with plenty of activity.
Also you asked about paying for services. None of us would take any money
for helping you out. You pay for all equipment, parts, etc that are needed.
We're all volunteers. If at the end you want to make a donation to the Club
that's ok, but it's entirely up to you.

Hi Bob

Thanks for the reply. Call - n3rak, location - Red Lion Rd & Haldeman
Aves. Not sure what I want to buy but I want total compatibility. Dipole
probably best for antenna with matchbox.

Hi,

You're invited to our meetings. The Holmesburg Amateur Radio Club meets
the 4th Thursday of the month at the 8th District Police Station, Red Lion
and Academy Rds. Time 8 PM. Our next meeting is in September.

What is you callsign? Where do you live? Do you have any equipment or
antennas yet?

Bob

Subject: Help

Hi
I am a blind and partially hearing impaired. I spent a lot of time
studying for
my technicians license and wound up also passing the general class ticket.

Morse code which I can hear was required at that te.

I was wondering if the bands are still active currently? If so could I
impose
to obtain some help and guidance in setting up mr ham shack?

I would like to attend a couple of your meetings too.

Info greatly appreciated. By the way, I would be glad to pay for any
help.
Passing the test does not mean I have immediate understanding.

 Thanks
 Joel
