The Tri-Lakes Monument Radio Association is offering a General License Class in April.
Registrations are now open.

Please pass this along to anyone interested.
Keep in mind that this class is NOT appropriate for unlicensed people getting their first ham license.
You must have a Technician license (or higher) to attend this class.
Some folks that already have their General license have attended to refresh their knowledge.

Two all-day sessions (8 AM to 5 PM) at
Woodmoor Barn, 1691 Woodmoor Drive, Monument, CO 80132
Students should attend both sessions.  

The General License provides access to regional and worldwide communications on the HF bands via ionospheric skip, greatly expanding operational capabilities!

•    Upgrade from Technician to General Class radio privileges
•    Pass your FCC General Class amateur license exam April 29
•    Live equipment demonstrations and activities
•    Learn to operate on the HF bands, 10 Meters to 160 Meters
•    Gain a deeper understanding of radio electronics and theory
•    Take the next step with antennas, amplifiers, digital modes

Registration fee: $30 ($20 for under 18 years of age)

Note that the FCC now charges a $35 license application fee,
payable directly to them after you pass the exam.

A current FCC Technician License is required for registration.
