This Get On The Air session is aimed primarily at new licensees from our recent Technician License Class.
However, anyone that is looking for some help getting started with ham radio is welcome to attend.

We will be programming handheld transceivers (HTs) with our standard set of repeater and simplex frequencies.
Attendees will be able to make a radio contact using their HT or a loaner HT.
You do not have to bring a handheld radio, we will have some for you to use.

We will discuss various radios and antennas that are available and answer any questions that you have.

Note that this session is at the Tri-Lakes Chamber Meeting House (not the regular Tri-Lakes Chamber of Commerce building).

The meeting house is located at 300 CO 105, Monument, CO
This is the little house that is on Hwy 105, next to the Jarrito Loco restaurant (formerly Village Inn).
