[HamTips] Heads Up: Getting Started with a Handheld Radio

The Tri-Lakes Monument Radio Association (W0TLM) normally has "Connect 
Time" before our club meetings so that people can connect and get advice 
on various ham radio topics.
Due to the Wuhan virus situation, the club is holding our May 16 meeting 
online via Zoom.

We are going to try an online Connect Time starting at 6 pm with the 
topic of "Getting Started with a Handheld Radio."
The topic is aimed at new licensees but everyone is welcome to attend.
Bob/K0NR will do a short presentation on handheld 2m/70cm transceivers, 
followed by an informal discussion.
Jim/NC0JW and Stu/W0STU will be helping out with questions that come up.

I will send the Zoom link to this email list once it is established.
