[HamTips] Some things to consider

We just had another successful Technician License class that produced 24 
new radio hams.
I've added them to this "new ham" email list.  From time to time, I send 
out some "ham tips" to the list.
It is relatively low bandwidth, not a lot of email.

Here's a few items aimed at this group of new hams but might be useful 
for folks that have been around a while, too.

*I Got My License, Now What?

*Vanity Callsign
*Take a close look at your new callsign. You might like it just fine but 
you might want to request a specific callsign (maybe something with your 
initials or a shortened version of your name).
The FCC lets you do this at no cost...now is the time to do it before 
you get used to your issued callsign and have to relearn a new one.
