I hear there is one or two satellites that operate 2m/440 MHz.  Has anyone
worked these with an FM HT with eggbeater antennas?  I see people working a
bird with the Arrow beam, but I am in need of something more stationary,
maybe eggbeaters with amps to make up for the lack of gain?  The application
will be talking to a base station from a mobile while out in the field,
preferably eggbeaters on each end.  Any ideas or experience along these
lines???
