     Hello again, I am glad the info on the icom 706mk2gs,and gm's came in handy..were on our way to Guam, by passed Yokosuka..The rig's are very similar to the stateside ic706mk2g, as they have the 2m and 70 cm bands, but again the power is lower..my friend in Sasebo explained no problem on Satellite use, but the price's are about $1160,and that might be higher..
        I am curious does AMSAT Still have there weekly HF net..on 20 meters.. I want to see if I can hear it when I get back home..
