Thanks Scott and others on your comments towards
working the UO14, I am looking into using the Arrow
antennas for my home station.
I was reading the Amsat newsletters and it
mentioned 2 things toward RS12/13 and it mentioned not
to use a dipole to contact the birds for some reason,
my antenna farm has 3 dipoles<2 G5RV's,and a W215S>
which I have used for about 4 years..they are
different in sizes, and I might have to fit a vertical
soon..and also install the eggbeaters..maybe for the
scanner as well..
one thought is to think about maybe putting Having
a Amsat newsletter put on this site so its still
fairly active..and it might make sense for those's
looking for a particular bird..
scott send me the list and thanks again,
