That was John Leary, W9WHM (SK), but he made improvements and I see no 
evidence of his typical modifications.  In those I've seen photos of, he 
never failed to add/delete/modify the function of the front panel 
controls and often made his own replacement panels.

This looks to me like someone went nuts with a can of safety yellow paint.
