[Hammarlund] Hammarlund Reflector Activity

Bill, on the 140X are you planning to do a sweep alignment of the 455 kHz IF (amplitude, symmetry, and coincidence!) or simply peak all the IF cans on a fixed 455?

I’ve used both approaches and, in my opinion and experience, the sweep alignment is the better approach. That said, in addition to the necessary equipment, of course, you better have a long, rainy weekend and nothing else to do since, at least for me, the sweep method is a long, long, over and over process. No start-at-Z4-and-finish-at-Z1 about it! We’re talking about simultaneous 8 levels of chess here. 🙂
