[Hammarlund] Hammarlund receivers

    My first station receiver was a BC-779 built by Howard Radio. Had it 
until recently when I had to clear out storage. I didn't really mean to 
get rid of it. I think the Super-Pro was about the best receive of its 
time. The RCA AR-88 overlapped this time period and was probably 
superior in some ways but was not ever available as a retail product.
