Thanks for keeping the old Hammarlunds alive!
The HQ-145 was manufactured from 1959 - 1963, and the HQ-145A from 1966 - 1969. The 145 had 11 tubes, the 145A has 10, because the 5U4GB rectifier tube was replaced with silicon diodes. Specification-wise, the 145 and 145A are virtually identical. The newer "A" model added a hinged cover and a punched hole for a SO-239. The HQ-145X has a position for fixed crystal operation.
