[Hammarlund] A question concerning the HQ-170

I picked up an HQ-170 recently for $65. It is complete and unmolested, although quite dirty. It 
will clean up nicely.

While studying the schematic diagram, I noticed that the product detector looks suspiciously 
like the cathode-coupled mixer which was written up by Keats Pullen, the so-called Pullen 
Mixer.

Anyone care to comment on this?

After all, all a good product detector is an audio-frequency mixer...
