Very curious.
I have one early 129-X with the red panel lettering, and two later production with the white lettering. Here's the curious thing:
Later production with s/n 14200 does NOT have the 15m bandspread.
The earlier late production s/n 13777 DOES have the 15m bandspread.
Both of the later production models have main and bandspread dials that are not discolored (yellowed).
I suppose it's possible that s/n 13777 was retrofitted by an owner before I took possession with the b/s dial with 15m legend. Do you know if Hammarlund offered replacement b/s dials with the 15m scale?

FWIW, the official designation for frequency became Hertz in
1960.
