Jim,
I have two suggestions:
1) the kits sold at auto parts stores for restoring fogged car headlight lenses work fine. Your job is much smaller than a headlight but you may decide it is worth it and you can work on your cars after you clear the radio clock lens.
(Likely the clock lens comes off by prying at the edges gently)
2) Novus plastic polish NUMBER 2 is good for CD disks and may well do for your job. Here are kits on Amazon:
