The connector you need is the weird ELCO Varicon. The finished connector is assembled from 20+ pieces. I have managed to accumulate pieces from several sources and if you wish I can see if I have the necessary parts. I think I have the pins and, plastic parts, and connecting screws but I may not have a hood. The hood is not necessary for operation. You can fabricate one if desired. Needless to say, these connector parts are difficult to find. I run a constant search on eBay with only one hit in several years.

Subject: [Hammarlund] 14 pin connector
I just purchased two HX-500 transmitters from the Schulman auction. I am looking for the 14 pin plugs that fit the rear connector so that I can interconnect to a HQ-170A. Does anyone have one or know where to get them ?
