[Hammarlund] hq 145a tone chirp/blip when tapping on the table. normal?

In order to really give you an answer about "what other parts", we would
have to know what is in the rest of your current inventory. As far as
tubes, what you stock is always questionable. I have tubes in my
Hammarlund HQ-170A-VHF that were installed when the receiver was built
and they still test good 50 years later.
