I just went to his site and read everything I could find there. I also downloaded some 
manuals for his various PD adapters.

>From what I can see there, his adapter for the SP-600 should be easily installed in the 
HQ-129X. I intend to try one in my HQ-129X as soon as possible.

Note that his adapters have TWO choices for AGC time-constant, not three as the stock 
R-390A has.
