[Hammarlund] Re-Capping HQ-180A - Some Questions

    Not familiar with the HQ-180-A but on the earlier HQ-120-X 
and 129-X the extra cap is for audio power amp cathode bypass. 
There is a separate lead for it in the earlier receivers. It may 
be that the HQ-180 has an independent cap for this.
     It seems to me that when the 180 was made Hammarlund was 
using all ceramic caps for all but power supply filters, what 
does your receiver have?  If they are ceramics they do not need 
to be changed out unless you find a band one. Hammarlund seems to 
have learned a lesson from the paper caps in the SP-600.
