[Hammarlund] HQ-110A Capacitor Question

Are electrolytic caps still being made for high voltage like in these receivers?

I thought current thinking was to stuff some modern electrolytic caps
in series / parallel to come up to the correct value and stuff them
into a decorative perhaps original can?

Your thoughts on the matter?
