 Jeff,
This teapot tempest has nothing to do with your nice poem. It started on the Hammarlund website posted by a Charles Ochs. He decided that Christmas morning was a fine time to go off on a political rant. He seemed to be in the eggnog too heavy.
There's a big difference between political ranting and American patriotism. God Bless your family and all of the military.

        It was not my intent to cause so much upheaval. As a member of a
Military Family, I know first hand what it's like to have love ones
