[Hammarlund] Politics on the web?

In my short time (52 years) in Ham Radio, there has been one
unwritten rule ... Thou shalt NOT engage in discussions about
Politics, Religion and/or your sex life.

There are plenty of Forums out there that cater to this sort of
thing, a Ham Radio Forum IS NOT one of these.

Will the List Admin please put an end to this before it gets
out of hand.

Politics is the business between people and their government. There is NEVER an improper place to discuss it.
Given the trouble that we have gotten into recently, I would like to see a lot more "discussion".
True, the election WAS 2 years ago--and Hillary won !
Instead, we got a buffoon who is causing all sorts of trouble that the good ol' USA will be dealing with for a long time-and NONE of it good.
This is what happens when we set up a system where morons can control who gets elected.

This little "Poem"is all well and good-but has that "fake patriot" thing all over it.
I spent over four years in the Navy. I have seen all this before. If I had children who expressed a desire to join up today, I would do everything to educate them about all this. The USA has NOT fought a righteous war since WW II. Today's battles are no exception.
Now-we have a moron as commander in chief. If I were in the military right now, I would be worried as hell.
