[Hammarlund] HQ 180 AC telechron clock movement needed

John,
If all else fails you can find a very similar looking Chinese quartz
clock movement that runs off an AA cell on Amazon.com. The hands are
plastic but they are very similar in appearance and width to your
original. Once installed it would take scrutiny to observe the clock
was not original. The final appearance is very pleasing when you
consider how close to original it looks for using a modern movement. It
mounts with a nut over the main clock shaft. Then you push on the
hands. As I recall you should cut the minute hand a little shorter in
length then as supplied.
