Hi all-
I recently came into possession of a HQ-200 that "worked the last time I plugged it in" (why do I keep falling for that?)
Anyways, rig has good cosmetics, so I decided to try a rebuild. Heavy smoker damage, but a trip through the dishwasher fixed all that.
So, several atrocities committed against the radio, and I'm looking for assistance and advice. First, the BFO trimmer capacitor is cracked in half. It is C-59 on the schematic, and listed as a 3.2 to 50. Second, the audio transformer has been hacked up, so it will need replacement. Looking for any clues or specifications for replacement. The trimmer cap has to have a similar form factor so it can miu t on the front panel...
I can manage the rest, but would appreciate any advice as to what to look for as far as replacements.
Thanks!
Jeff
