[Hammarlund] HQ-180 service bulletins and recommended mods

Hi Jeff,
Doing the filament mod to the osc. & mixer tubes will greatly reduce
drift on turn-on. I've done that on several -170's & -180's.
The audio ckt on these rcvrs has been the subject of lots of
discussion. It's meant for communication quality. But if it's really
cruddy sounding (technical term, there), it's most likely an issue with
the IF alignment. IIRC the later manuals have a mistake in the
procedure. Somewhere I've got some pages marked, "use this for IF
alignment", I'll search them up for you.
