Hi Gary,
What about that receive/standby switch on the front panel? I don't
remember if that is functional with the jumper in place around back.
What about the antenna? Connected? Not shorted? Next thought would be
the bandswitch contacts. Have you tried moving that? after That you'll
probably have to open it up.
Do you know for sure the local oscillator and 2nd detector oscillator
are running? Maybe the 6C4 went to lunch.
Just some ideas.
