I think the OP said the fellow he got the receiver from
bought it new and it never worked right. It puzzles me how
it could have gotten through the alignment process at the
factory since any shortcoming in performance would have
shown up there and if it made it to the shipping dock anyway
why the original purchaser didn't take it back and complain.
I am not sure what gremlins John is fighting with this
but I would not be surprised if someone had been in it
before him.
