Robert,

The short answer is "yes", but your comments make me suspect that you 
may not be aware of the history of the HX-50.   There was a long string 
of modifications made during production, and unfortunately the factory 
did these as "running changes" without any notation to the model 
number.   As far as I know, no one has a complete correlation of 
modification vs. serial number, so you're going to have noodle the exact 
configuration of your transmitter out for yourself to see which (if any) 
of these changes have been made. Some are quite extensive, and you can 
judge for yourself whether or not to make them.

Since the www.hammarlund.org website is down and I see that N9SOR had 
his entire Hammarlund collection up for sale, I assume it may now be 
difficult to find the HX-50 mods document I obtained from him.     So, 
I've uploaded a pdf copy here for anyone who would like it:
