Let the downsizing begin......

Before I put this fine little receiver on eBay I thought I'd offer it on these reflectors.  I've had this one for maybe ten years and used it on The Classic Exchange a few times.  Today I put some Deoxit on the wafer switches and the vfo capacitor rotor wipers as it was a bit hesitant to work on all bands and a little jumpy when it did.  That did the trick.  Afterward I tested it successfully using my URM-25F on all bands.  The dial calibration is very close from 160 meters to 6 meters and the receiver appears to be rather sensitive.  The signal generator is not calibrated so I can't provide sensitivity numbers.    I did not test the q multiplier and the original filter capacitor is in place so it should be replaced (although there is no detectable hum).  With a new cap and an alignment this receiver will make a nice addition to your shack.  Although the original two wire cord is in fine shape, I would replace it with a three wire cord and install an under chassis fuse.

I would rate this unit as an 8.5-9.0.  The cabinet paint is nearly perfect as is the front panel.  The working clock and meter faces are clear and unscratched.  There are no modifications that I noticed and there are no added holes.

Note:  My computer died recently which is why I am not putting this on eBay right now as doing so with an iPad is a pain.
