[Hammarlund] ITT Modified SP-600

I have tried to enlarge to see what is printed, but can't make it out.
Interesting the metal enclosure in the shot of the rf deck. I've not seen
that before.

Also interesting is the fact that Hammarlund built a variant, the JX-32 for
McKay Radio, they were black faced. I have seen one example (rather bad
shape) several years back. This is the first one I've encountered with the
McKay name tag on the front panel. Like the ITT and Northern Radio variants,
most were J-11 models and modified for diversity reception.

Subject: [Hammarlund] ITT Modified SP-600

There is an SP-600 listed on eBay - item 251629805127 - that was modified by
ITT.

I have a similar - but not identical - ITT receiver.

Can anybody tell me the legends shown on the escutcheon plates installed
over the two toggle switches on the bottom left of the front panel? They
are missing on my receiver.

I've tried to contact the eBay seller, but he's away.

Also, does anybody have a copy of the "official" prints (or any notes)
showing the ITT modifications.

I've done some circuit tracing, but I can't be sure what mods were done by
(or for) ITT and what was done after the receiver passed out of ITT's hands.

Any useful comments gratefully accepted.
