[Hammarlund] HQ-145X Question

Hello all,

   I have a question about the HQ-145X.  In the manual that I have, and
others that I've found on the net, it shows the noise limiter being
selected by the VFO/XTAL switch.  On my HQ-145X, those positions are there
on the VFO/XTAL switch (VFO, VFO LIM, XTAL, XTAL LIM); however, the slot
filter depth pot has a switch on it as well that is also labeled
"LIMITER"... hence, my question does that "LIMITER" switch actually
operate?   I find no reference in any 145 manual I can find.  Most pictures
on the net do not show this, but there is the odd duck picture or two that
does have this and looks like my 145X.
