[Hammarlund] sp600 vlf question ??

hello everybody...I am new to the list
 
I have a dero 2f ...just like an sp-600 vlf.
wonder if anyone knows who dero made them for...fcc, cia, nsa ? and how many may have been made?
 
the only references I could find on the net were for a calculator they made and a legal dispute they were involved in.
 
dero research and development I imagine is long defunct at least by that name. they were located in Huntington ny.
 
there is a dero enterprises inc. headquartered in canada but that has a branch in Bayville ny (only 10 miles away!)
 
I called them, but a man with a heavy foreign accent answered and I think he either got frustrated with me or didn't want to answer my non-profitable questions and he hung up. dero enterprises webpage says that they are into injection molded plastic.
 
that's all I have been able to find so far...not much
 
any ideas ???
