Its normal. I have no idea why Hammarlund decided to do this. Hammarlund did a number of things that don't make sense, for instance why did they put the broadcast band on the outside of the dial and the highest frequenecy band on the inside, same on the band spread dial. Same thing on the HQ-120-X. I also don't understand why they didn't add voltage regulation and temperature compensation to the SP-200 since they knew how to do it from the HQ-120-X.
