[Hammarlund] Ultimate receiver??

My choice for the ultimate receiver seems to change with my moods, so I have my own personal hamfest in the closet (and on the desk, under the desk, on the bookshelves, wherever they fit).  At various times, it's been the SP-600,  HQ-180, R-390A, 51J-4, 75A-3, R-1414, AR-7030, NRD-515, NRD-535, R-4C, R-7 ...  The collection is slowly drifting toward more solid state, but I can't let go of my 51J-4.  Maybe that says something about my choice of THE one among tube radios.
