[Hammarlund] Hammarlund Digest, Vol 109, Issue 9

I made a clock control shaft for a HQ 170 from a dowel stick that I bought at Michaels for about 50 cents.  I cut it to length, drilled a small hole for the clock shaft, tapered the external part and painted it grey.  I secured it with a little epoxy (JB Weld).  If you are a purist, this repair is not for you, but it worked fine for me.

I have an HQ100A parts receiver, it is missing the power transformer, antenna 
control, some knobs. Has a 12 hour clock, however someone drilled three holes in 
the face plate for lights!! Some peoples kids!!
