IF in connects to the IF output jack on the receiver, its 
marked and is on the back apron of the chassis.
Rec. Det means receiver detector.  I am not sure why it 
needs this but you can use the detector output on the SP-600 
Volume control, I am not sure about this one, it may be 
either a way to feed to audio input of the receiver or for a 
remote volume control.  AF out is audio out, which could be 
either low level to go back to the receiver or high level to 
drive a loudspeaker. Have you looked at BAMA for an 
instruction book?
    I am still preparing some alignment hints for the JX-17.
