I'd just recap. The SP-400 is a little better than the SP-200s because you don't have to drop the tuning unit to get at the bypass caps. You do still have to open up the IF cans, but that's not a big deal.

Subject: [Hammarlund] Caps?
I've got a Super Pro 400X here, it works but the sensitivity is very low, is
anyone here familiar with Caps that have an M inside of a rectangle for the
brand I believe and an L on the larger ones with 255K written on them and E on
smaller ones that say 104K. These caps look like very large rectangular
ceramics. Larger ones are 1 1/2 inches long by 1 inch by 3/8 inch. The smaller
ones are maybe not quite an inch long, 3/4 of an inch top to bottom and about
1/4 of an inch thick. There are also a couple of even smaller ones. They are all
400 volt caps and all have the M inside of a rectangle. I haven't tested them
for leakage. Should I waste my time checking them or just recap?
