Look about for a watch maker. I know they are rare in today's world,
but I found one in Ardmore, OK. If you can believe it, he was older
than I am. I asked him to clean, repair and adjust my grandfather's
pocket watch, a plain example of an Elgin made in 1922.
He did a great job for me and I have found jewelers who repaired the
contact blocks for HROs. They may be hard to find in your area, but are
very adept at repairs of small clocks like you have. Ask any jeweler
who does repairs.
