     This is the piece I read. I belong to enough mailing 
lists now that I don't always remember where I've seen 
something. Sometimes frustrating.
     Thank you so much for this really interesting bit of 
history. I grew up with all these brand names but never got 
curious about what was behind them. Now I am fascinated with 
the history of industry and especially the people behind 
some of the famous names.
