[Hammarlund] HQ-145 Detector was: Favorite Hammerlund receiver?

Yes, the Ham Radio Museum databas is wrong. The HQ-145 has
just a common diode detector and AM-only AGC.
I put the product detector and AGC circuit from my NCX-3
into the HQ-145X I once had and it became a great SSB and
CW receiver. I did NOT experience the instability that
others have tagged on that receiver.
