Hi again Mitch!!

Happen to stumble across the HQ-110 and A manuals. They both have
5Y3's. Just ignore me tonight. I'm in a pain killer induced fog. Not
to be confused with a 90 proof fog but it renders one just as screwed
up! :-).

> I purchased another new to me Hammarlund receiver this weekend at the Spokane, WA hamfest. Unfortunately, I am having a bit of a problem positively identifying it. It appears to be a HQ-110, but the metalic sticker on the rear says its a 110A. The front panel only has the Hammarlund above the band switch. The dials go from 1.8 to 147, but the band switch only goes to 54. The serial number stamped into the rear is 102XX, which I think means it is a later model. I've looked at a number of pictures of both the 110 and 110A, and the 110A's have it embossed on the front panel next to the name Hammarlund. From what I have been able to research, the 110A's had the dial that go to 147, and 110's dials only went ot 54. The 110A's also had the 4 pin accessory plug on the back, but the 110's did not.
