Paul,
Thanks for your kind offer but since I have already had several years of exposure so it is probably too late for me :)
I did put a couple of coats of clear paint on the knobs of some of my
Mil gear to keep the radioactive pointer line paint from flaking off but
I am going to ignore the possible danger of my R-390A with original
radioactive meters. I also have a lot of those dangerous little VR
tubes that have been doped with a radioactive element to ensure reliable
starting. They do have cute little warning symbols which some might
find frightening.

Anyone having any mil surplus radio equipment that they fear may have "glow
in the dark" paint used in lettering and meter faces which may be putting
