The 170 has all the faults of the 110 Ken and it adds a few of its own but
at least the HC-10 is built in. I opted for a HQ-180 with the noise blanker
instead and it already had the 6C4 filament on mod which tends to eat them
up. Right now the 180 is suffering from SMD.
The HQ-145 can often be found for 110 prices and is a better platform to
improve on.
