Hi Ray,

Maybe when you take it out of it's cubby hole you'll find the cracked
wire or something else as obvious and obnoxious. One thing you might
check if the outlets and light switches in your home. I once had similar
symptoms and I finally noticed it happened every time somebody used one
of the bathroom outlets at the wash basin. I checked it right after my
XYL finished drying her hair and found the outlet too hot to touch!!
