[Hammarlund] Ok already! and Links

Hello All,

Ok, to avoid a kicking I'll buy the HQ145 (;->)...BUT, I just found a general guide to restoration of boatanchors, and it looks like a lot more than I want to get into. Here is the link, and the fellow that wrote it seems to have a very reasonable minimalist approach:

So, anybody got a suggestion for a good Hammarlund restoration guy?

Also, a preselector has been mentioned by several people as a good adjunct--suggestions for what to look out for?

In browsing around I ran across this site with a couple of items of interest--most of you probably know of it--a nicely designed frequency meter that replaces the clock, and a new replacement front panel for the HQ129.
