I respectfully disagree, Meir. I've got three 88 variants from an
early 88LF to the CR-91A to the last of the line, the SC-88/R-320.
Nice receivers to be sure and they do sound good, but they have single
ended audio, lack the variable selectivity, and don't seem to hear as
well as either the SP-200 or the SP-100 I have - not that they hear
badly. Haven't gotten the SP-10 online yet for a comparison.

At the end of the day, they're all great receivers for our purposes.
And we're most fortunate to have the opportunity to own and operate
one or many of them. Folks from a few decades back would certainly be
envious!
