[Hammarlund] Audio driven AGC.

Hi fellow list members,

Many years ago I used a circuit from a magazine for controlling AGC that was amazingly effective.
It involved feeding the audio output back into the AGC bus. It may have as simple as connecting
the audio output back into the agc bus. At 93, I must admit, "my memory just ain't what it  used to be!".

Does anyone have the information please? This circuit, as I remember, was simple but amazingly 
effectivel. I think a fellow ham maybe next door with a KW would not have blasted my speaker!
