I finally got an HQ-129X when I was operating in my teenage years and later. Unfortunately (in retrospect) I got rid of it a few years back to get an Icom to save space/weight. I lost a great receiver (still have my Hammarlund HT-18 VFO in great condition; drove a homebrew final with that)
just some memories.
