[Hammarlund] RFI problems with Ford Edge

Hi Kevin,

Why not write a letter to Ford proper and ask them about such issues? If
anyone knows the whole story, it should be their engineers.

Be sure to mention that you are an Amateur Radio Operator and will be using
a two way radio in said vehicle. You could suggest, even if it is not true,
that you are a member of a local Ham Radio group or club that monitors
weather emergencies and reports to the NWS. Perhaps if FMC grasps the
concept that their vehicle is going to be depended upon to report possible
adverse weather conditions to the NWS they might be more inclined to do some
investigating on their own before responding to your letter.

Let us know what FMC has to say OM!

Duane, W8DBF
